ReplayRaccoon records what really happened in the browser, so bugs can be reproduced instead of guessed.

WHAT IT CAPTURES
• Full DOM replay (rrweb): scroll, clicks and page changes, frame by frame
• Network requests with headers and bodies, exportable as HAR or cURL
• Console logs and uncaught JavaScript errors, pinned on the timeline
• Screen or window video, optional webcam and microphone
• Web vitals, environment info, annotations and bookmarks

HOW RECORDING WORKS IN FIREFOX
Pick a screen or window in Firefox's own share picker; "Stop sharing" ends the session. Page data comes from the tab you started on; turn on "Follow tabs" to also record popups and tabs it opens, or every tab you switch to in that window.

BUILT NOT TO LOSE YOUR RECORDING
Video is saved to local storage every second. If Firefox or the extension crashes mid-recording, the session is recovered instead of lost. Quality presets keep files small, and optional limits stop recording before the disk fills.

LOCAL-FIRST AND PRIVATE
• Sessions live in your browser's storage — no account, no servers, no analytics
• Export any session as a portable .raccoon file and share it however you like
• Optional sync to your own bucket: Amazon S3, Cloudflare R2, MinIO, Backblaze B2, Google Cloud Storage or Azure Blob, with version history and expiring share links. Credentials are encrypted at rest.

PERMISSIONS
Website access is needed to record the pages you choose; the recorder only runs while a recording is active. Screen, camera and microphone are asked by Firefox each time.

Note: Firefox records in Screen / window mode. Silent single-tab capture is Chrome-only.
