WideView is independent software for resizing standard web video players in the browser.

What stays on your device
- Presets, picture mode, and your license/recovery code in browser storage.
- Video files opened in the website player are not uploaded.
- The extension reads video elements only on sites you allow and changes display styles. It does not send video URLs, page content, or viewing history to WideView.

What leaves the device
- If you activate Pro, the extension sends your license or recovery code to https://wideview.various-dye.workers.dev/api/license/verify so we can check entitlement (trial, paid, cancelled, refunded, or complimentary). That is authentication information only.
- Purchases and card details are handled by Stripe on our website. WideView does not receive full card numbers.
- The hosting provider may process routine connection logs.

We do not use analytics SDKs in the extension.
