About this extension
More picture. Less black space.

WideView gives web videos the whole screen on ultrawide and standard monitors. Use Original to keep the complete picture and proportions for free, or switch to Fill, Stretch, manual zoom, and three saved presets when you want the player to match your display.

What you get
- Original mode — free forever; keeps the full frame and aspect ratio
- Fill — crop to fill the player (does not invent resolution)
- Stretch — fit the player by changing proportions
- Manual zoom + three saved presets
- Works with accessible HTML video players, including YouTube and many embedded players
- Keyboard shortcuts: Alt/Option+Shift+W cycles modes; Alt/Option+Shift+R resets the focused video
- Optional auto-apply so your picture mode sticks across tabs in that browser

Pro pricing
Original stays free. Fill, Stretch, zoom, and presets start with a 3-day trial, then $2.99 USD once — not a subscription. Cancel before the trial ends if you do not want the charge. Refunds within 14 days of the charge: chalbidu@gmail.com.

Privacy
WideView adds no analytics. The extension reads video elements on sites you allow and changes display styles. Presets stay on your device. It does not send browsing history, video URLs, or video content to our servers. License checks (Pro) only verify your activation code.

Honest limits
Works with accessible HTML video players. It cannot control native apps, browser-protected pages, closed shadow-root players, or canvas-only players. Some DRM / custom fullscreen setups may not respond. Fill crops inside the existing player; it does not increase source quality. Other video-resizing extensions may interfere — disable them first.

After install
1. Allow WideView on the video site (and embedded domains if needed), then refresh and play
2. Open WideView from the toolbar; pick one video or all videos in the tab
3. Choose Original, Fill, or Stretch; use the site’s fullscreen for the full display
4. Optional: enable automatic picture mode (set per browser)
