by Jaybiam, 9 years agoThis thing used to be excellent .. then they updated everything... now it sucks so bad.. you need the extension app for one... so another download to your computer.. it doesn't 'light up' anymore.. got too many damn choices that once you click one its stuck to that single choice until you restart your system. i can't locate, using search any of the vids i managed to download after a 90 minute download time, when another download app took 3 minutes and put it on my desktop where all my downloads go.. a once good app ruined by creators that THINK they are improving but really fixing something that was never broken.. i wish creators would STOP doing that shit and leave well enough alone!!!

It gets 4 stars now (not 5) for two reasons:
1)The developer has disabled the contact page on his site, and there's no way to reach him. This is a problem ...
2)It's a very weird design decision to make me select download directory and file name (from Download As) *after* the download is complete. It causes the Save As system dialog to interrupt what I'm doing, routinely stealing keystrokes meant for another program and erasing the correct filename, wasting my time.
