    • The list of assigned devices moves from the toolbar popup to a new Assignments tab on the settings page, with a search box that filters as you type on the device name, MAC address or icon label, rows sorted by name, and the same two-click remove.
    • The popup now shows how many devices are assigned and a Manage Assignments button that opens that tab. Consoles, GitHub sync, backups and the layout notice stay in the popup.
    • The popup footer shows the installed version.
    • No new permissions.

    • A notice when a UniFi update changes the page in a way that breaks Ubicon: the mark next to UniFi's logo turns amber, and the popup and settings page offer a one-click report (a prefilled GitHub issue or email) that names the page parts that changed, the UniFi Network version, the browser and the Ubicon version, and nothing about your devices or network.
    • One click to turn Ubicon on for a local console: open the console, click the Ubicon icon, accept the offer. On Chrome and Edge the icon shows an amber dot on such a console before you click.
    • Page selectors are kept per UniFi Network version so future UniFi changes can be handled without breaking older consoles. Tested on Network 10.6.106.
    • Sync polish: a failed setup step names the repository it was about; the popup list updates while open; the "sync is on in another browser" notice appears as soon as it arrives.

    • Optional GitHub sync: keep assignments and custom icons in a private repository you own, shared across every browser you connect. Off by default.
    • The options page now opens in its own tab.
    • Minimum Firefox version is now 140 (142 on Android).
    • Fixes: no HTML string assignment left in the content script; a popup row could briefly show twice while its list was redrawn.

    Firefox bug fix.

    Fixed: the popup's "Add this console" button did nothing when clicked. Firefox only allows a permission request while the click is still being handled, and Ubicon read from storage before asking, which Firefox treats as leaving the click handler. The request now comes first. The same fix covers the Settings form and the toolbar icon's "Add Current Console" menu item.

    The popup now shows an error message in its status line if adding a console fails, instead of silently doing nothing.

    No other changes. Ubicon remains a read-only visual overlay: it never calls the UniFi API and never changes a UniFi setting.
