by ajropey, 3 years agoAbsolutely tanks performance when watching youtube videos. Finally narrowed it down to this plug-in. CPU temps spike to 90c+, thermal throttles and brings the performance down.
To dev: Please let me know if I can provide logs or something to help resolve this. This is a really handy extension but its unusable in its current state.
Device: mid-2014 Macbook Pro 13 inch.

posted 3 years agoTry disabling all user scripts. There are a few userscripts that end up tanking performance when combined with SponsorBlock such as "CPU tamer" which doesn't actually improve performance outside of SponsorBlock anyway anymore

- Rated 2 out of 5by Mats, 18 days agoThe extention changes the caption language to Arabic and there is nothing you can do about it. Not sure if the developers are arabic and missed this, or if it just because it is the first language in the list, but it is very frustrating. Even more frustrating than the sponsor-sections.
I hope they fix the bug so that i can re-install the extention.Developer response
