Pyxils Download Manager — privacy policy

The extension collects nothing. No analytics, no trackers, and no server of ours that
any of your data passes through. This is a permanent commitment, not a current state.

What the extension does, all of it on your own computer:

• Watches response headers to notice downloadable files and video streams on the page
you are viewing.
• Reads sign-in cookies for the page you choose to download from, only at the moment
you start that download, and passes them to the Pyxils desktop application over
Windows native messaging so that files behind a login still download. They are
discarded once the download starts, and are never sent to any server.
• Stores your extension preferences in your browser's own local storage, where they
stay until you remove the extension.

Native messaging is a local channel between the extension and an application on the
same machine. Nothing sent over it leaves your device.

Not collected: browsing history, visited sites, account or sign-in details, telemetry,
crash reports, or advertising identifiers. There is no cloud sync.
