No accounts, no registration, no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising, no third-party trackers.

WHAT STAYS ON YOUR DEVICE

The extension stores only your own data using the browser's local storage: interface theme, interface language, the order in which you arranged the cards, and the fragments you saved (start, end and name, tied to the video's address or identifier), together with the unfinished state of the fragment editor. Fragments are stored encrypted (AES-GCM) with a key generated in your browser and kept alongside them. While the browser is open, the list of currently playing tabs is also kept in the browser's session storage, which is cleared when the browser closes. None of this data ever leaves your browser, and all of it is removed when you uninstall the extension.

If you use "Export" in the settings, the extension creates a JSON file with your fragments and hands it to your browser's download. The file is created only on your request and is not sent anywhere.

WHAT THE EXTENSION READS

To show and control playback, the extension reads the state of audio and video elements in your open tabs (playing or paused, position, duration, volume, mute, and whether the media has a sound track) and the track information the site itself publishes through the standard mediaSession interface (title, artist, artwork). It also reads the title and icon of those tabs so you can recognise them. This information is used only to draw the control panel and is never sent anywhere.

NETWORK REQUESTS

The extension makes one kind of network request: when you play a video on YouTube Music, it requests the public youtube.com page of that same video to read its chapter list, because YouTube Music does not provide it. Only the video identifier is involved, the response is parsed locally for chapter timestamps, and the result is kept in memory for the current session. No information about you is sent with this request beyond what your browser sends to YouTube anyway. On youtube.com itself chapters are read from the page you already have open, with no extra request.

No other servers are contacted. The extension does not load or execute remote code.
