Lamha — لمحة by Osama

Lamha (لمحة) is an Arabic-first dictionary and translator for Firefox, inspired by the "Look Up" feature on iOS and macOS.

Select any English word and a small بحث button appears. Tap it to see:
- The Arabic meaning, pronunciation and audio
- Other meanings grouped by part of speech (اسم، فعل، صفة)
- Definitions translated to Arabic, with the English original and examples
- Synonyms you can tap to explore, plus spelling suggestions
- A short Wikipedia summary (Arabic when available)

Select a sentence or paragraph to get a full Arabic translation instantly.

Translate whole pages to Arabic from the toolbar button, the right-click menu or Alt+Shift+T. Switch between Arabic and the original with one click. Links and page layout keep working.

Privacy: Only the text you select, or a page you choose to translate, is sent to Google Translate and Wikipedia to get results. No tracking or analytics. Your word history stays on your device.
