A name that says what Clipwell does: Clipwell – Video Downloader for MP4, HLS & DASH. It comes in 12 languages, and your browser shows it in yours when it can. The store summary is new too, in the same 12 languages.

Nothing else changes. Your settings, Later, Favourites and Plus carry over.

Clip an unencrypted HLS stream of known length before you save it. Record a live HLS stream for a set time (keep the tab open). Save a full-resolution video frame. Tick several items and save them at once.
Direct subtitle files (VTT, SRT) show up and save as .srt. Audio-only streams save as audio files; MPEG-TS audio stays .ts. Streams show their quality and whether they are live. More filename tokens, such as {site} and {creator}, with one-click chips in Settings. Optional floating video overlay on scanned pages: Save, picture-in-picture, speed, volume boost.
Send a media file (not a stream) to a webhook or Discord URL you enter. Nothing is sent unless you choose to.
Ordinary file saves no longer ask for site access. One Plus code works on up to 3 devices: it unlocks after checkout, and Settings → Plus shows the code. On another device, paste it there and choose Restore Plus.

Save is more honest. If a video cannot be written — DRM, a locked stream, a page-only player — the button stays off and you get a short reason. Retry is not offered when it can never work.

Star a page to favourite it, or bookmark it for Later and download when you are ready. Unencrypted HLS and DASH still save as one file.

Ordinary file saves no longer ask for extra site access they did not need. Plus should unlock after payment even if you never granted access to every site.
