Watch a video you want to keep? Clipwell finds it on the page, lets you pick a quality, and saves it to Downloads. Star a page to come back later, or bookmark it and download when you are ready.

If the site uses a stream instead of a normal file, Clipwell can join unencrypted HLS or DASH into one playable file. If something cannot be saved — DRM, a locked stream, a page-only player — Save stays off and you get a short reason. No junk files.

Your files stay on your computer unless you choose to send one to a webhook. No account, no ads, no tracking.

What you can do

• Send a media file (not a stream) to a webhook or Discord URL you enter
• Turn on an optional floating video overlay: Save, picture-in-picture, speed, volume boost
• See a thumbnail, a filename preview, and a clear “can’t save” note
• Queue, pause, cancel, or retry. Direct file saves carry on after you close the tab; a live recording or a save that runs in the page stops
• Use Quick, Archive, or Mobile, or name files your way
• Hide ad-host media from the list and add simple site rules
• Popup or sidebar (Alt+Shift+K). Best match: Alt+Shift+D
