Zhihu Answer Capture does not collect, sell, or transmit user data to the developer or to any developer-operated server.

When the user explicitly starts a capture, the extension sends requests to Zhihu using the user's existing browser session in order to retrieve answers for the current Zhihu question.

The extension stores settings and temporary capture data locally in the browser. Captured answers remain local unless the user chooses to save or export them.

If the user chooses to save images or videos, those files are downloaded directly from their original media URLs.

The extension contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking, or remote executable code.
