Without an account, Zake sends nothing. Website blocking, the pause screen, bypass protection, the break timer and your Focus Score all work on your device with no account and no network connection.

Firefox asks you first. Zake uses Firefox's built-in data consent. It declares four optional categories and asks for each one only when a feature you clicked needs it:

• Personally identifying info: your account email; the email domain used to check an organisation seat; the email on a feature suggestion (only if granted, otherwise the suggestion is anonymous). Sent at sign-in, sign-up, password reset, checkout, license redeem, or a feature suggestion.
• Authentication info: the password or 6-digit code at sign-up or sign-in, and the tokens that keep you signed in. Sent during the same account actions.
• Browsing activity: the domain of a site YOU chose to block, a timestamp, and whether you turned back or continued, plus your block list and schedules. Never your browsing history, page content, search terms, or other sites you visit. Sent only while you are signed in with sync on.
• Technical and interaction data: settings you control (Work Profile schedule, bypass protection, Feed Killer choices, wellbeing preferences), focus scores and session counts, and the browser name on a feature suggestion. Sent only while signed in with sync on, or when you send a suggestion.

You can withdraw any of these at any time in about:addons > Zake > Permissions. Blocking keeps working; Zake just stops sending that data.

Zake does not collect health information, website content, search terms, personal communications, location, or bookmarks.

Private windows: nothing from a private window is stored or sent.

Camera: the optional Posture Coach analyses camera frames entirely on your computer. No image, landmark or posture value is saved or sent.

Who processes the data: Google Firebase (accounts and your own synced record), zake.app on Cloudflare (checkout, entitlement, license seats, email codes), Resend (verification and password-reset email), Dodo Payments (checkout, only if you buy Desktop Pro; card details are entered on Dodo's page, never in the add-on), and Supabase (feature suggestions only).

We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.
