Sort the YouTube channels you watch into your own categories, then open one at a time and see just its newest videos. No algorithm, no Shorts, no giant undifferentiated feed.

Your categories. Name them anything; a channel can sit in several, or in none. Add one by pasting a YouTube link or handle — no API key, no account.
One category at a time. The feed page opens with your categories as tabs and a video grid below. Videos load only for the category you open, and are cached, so switching back is instant.
Watch progress. A bar on each card shows how far you got, recorded while you watch on youtube.com in this browser. A corner button marks a video watched.
Fully local. Categories, channels and progress stay in Firefox's storage. No account, no sync, no telemetry — the add-on contacts only youtube.com and its image servers. Privacy policy

Worth knowing: YouTube's feeds carry only a channel's 15 most recent uploads, and live streams and premieres do not appear for channels that also post regular uploads.

Developer comments

Known limitations:
• YouTube's RSS feeds cap at the 15 most recent uploads per channel. A channel that posts more than 15 times between visits will show gaps rather than a full history. This is a hard limit of the feed source, not something the extension can work around without an API key.
• Firefox for Android and Chrome/Edge are not supported or tested.
• No cloud sync, or automatic background notifications in this version.
