    • Faster, flicker-free load: theme and sidebar state now apply before first paint, instead of popping in after the page renders.
    • New tab search: press "/" anywhere on the new tab page to jump straight into the search box.
    • Smoother navigation between the new tab page and your full workspace, with a subtle crossfade (on browsers that support it — falls back to an instant switch otherwise).
    • Removed the redundant "open workspace" button on the new tab page.
    • Minor contrast fix for the workspace avatar in light theme.
