x.com reels blocker by nogg

x.com (Twitter) plays vertical videos in a swipeable, auto-advancing feed. This extension locks that behaviour so it cannot pull you into the next video: swiping or scrolling to the next clip does nothing, and a video that ends stays on its last frame instead of auto-advancing.

How it works
- The media viewer's vertical scroll-snap strip is structurally locked, so next/previous-reel gestures are inert.
- No class-name matching: x.com re-renders its DOM constantly and its class names are unstable, so the extension detects the strip by computed style and layout behaviour, and re-applies the lock on every re-render.
- Works on Firefox for desktop and Firefox for Android.

Privacy
- No data collection, no network requests. The extension only modifies the x.com page you are already viewing.
