Web eID by Riigi Infosüsteemi Amet

The Web eID extension enables the use of digital identity documents (such as an ID-card, digital ID, e-Resident’s digital ID, residence permit card, etc.) for secure authentication and signing on the web.

To use the extension, the Web eID native application must also be installed on your computer.

Upon authentication and signing at the e-service Web eID transmits the user's certificate and URL of the website origin to the e-service.
