VerifyLabs.AI Deepfake Detector by VerifyLabs.AI
VerifyLabs.AI Deepfake Detector for Firefox: privacy policy
What the add-on sends
- Only the images, audio and video you choose to check (by dropping, pasting, right-clicking, snipping or scanning) are uploaded to VerifyLabs.AI for analysis, together with your VerifyLabs.AI username and API key to authorise the check.
- Your username and password are sent to VerifyLabs.AI only when you log in.
Where it goes
- Media is uploaded over HTTPS to VerifyLabs.AI's storage through a single-use upload link that expires after five minutes. It is analysed by VerifyLabs.AI and its detection providers to produce the result, and deleted once the check is complete.
What stays on your device
- Your settings and your history of results (including small previews and the page each check was run on) are stored only in your browser. They are never sent to VerifyLabs.AI, and you can delete them at any time from the History tab.
What the add-on doesn't do
- It doesn't read the pages you visit unless you use one of its features on that page, and it doesn't track your browsing.
- Your data isn't sold, and isn't used for anything other than running the checks you ask for.
