Say goodbye to unexpected 40 km/h headwinds on your ride back: instantly see where and when you will face headwinds or enjoy a tailwind!
- 💨 Vector Wind Analysis: Automatic calculation of relative wind angle based on your compass bearing at every kilometer (headwind 🔴, crosswind 🟡, tailwind 🟢).
- 🗺 Direct Komoot & Strava Integration: Whenever you open a route page, interactive weather checkpoints and a draggable summary widget appear right on the map.
- ⏱ Physics-Based Pace Modeling: Realistic speed calculation weighted by gradient (penalized uphill, capped gain downhill) normalized to your target average speed to accurately time your passage at each checkpoint.
- 🌦 Accurate Weather Data (Open-Meteo): Mean wind speed, max gusts, precipitation probability & accumulation, actual temperature, and "feels-like" temperature.
- 📁 Universal GPX Import: Drag and drop any GPX file to plan bikepacking, gravel, or road cycling adventures.
- 🔒 100% Client-Side & Privacy by Design: Zero third-party backend servers, zero account required, zero tracking or analytics. All calculations run locally in your browser.
- Simply open a route page on Komoot or Strava: the weather checkpoints and summary widget will automatically overlay on the map.
- Adjust your departure date/time, target average speed, or checkpoint spacing directly from the floating panel.
- You can also click the extension icon in your browser toolbar to open the standalone web UI and drop any GPX file.
- Weather Forecasts: Powered by the open-source API Open-Meteo.com under the CC BY 4.0 license.
