About this extension
rade journal, portfolio, watchlist and market news. Tracks your setups and price alerts. Never places orders.
NEW IN 0.3.0
• Signals show every check that produced them, with the real numbers — and say which check failed
when nothing fires
• Optional extra checks: RSI, minimum ATR, session VWAP and a trading-hours window
• Turn a signal straight into a journal entry, a note or a price alert
• Notes now show the money made or lost with the point value behind it (1 × $5/pt · +16 pts · +$80.00)
• Notes keep a timestamped follow-up log and an editable trade time
• Fixed: futures charts showed the wrong instrument, because TradingView's free widget silently falls
back to its own default symbol when it has no data. The built-in chart is now used instead
• Fixed: saving a note gave no visible confirmation, which led to duplicates. Every action now confirms
at the top of the page
TradeSignal turns your browser into a trading workspace: a journal that actually tells you something,
a portfolio you can see at a glance, price alerts, and market news sorted so you can scan it in seconds.
Everything stays on your computer. There is no account, no server and no tracking, and the extension
never connects to a broker — it cannot place, change or cancel an order.
TRADE JOURNAL
• Log trades with entry, exit, size, fees, stop and target
• Futures contract sizes are filled in automatically (MES = $5/point, ES = $50, NQ = $20…)
• Tag each trade with a setup, and record the mistakes you want to stop repeating
• Add a stop and every trade reports its risk in dollars and its result in R
• Notes attach to the trade they belong to, including whether it ended at TP or SL
• Every note shows the money made or lost and the point value used to work it out
• Follow-ups keep a timestamped log under each note
• The same trade cannot be added twice, and re-importing a file adds nothing new
PORTFOLIO AND ANALYTICS
• Open positions with size-weighted average entry and live open P&L
• Realised P&L for today and all time, win rate, profit factor, expectancy
• Monthly P&L calendar — see your good and bad days at a glance
• Performance by setup, symbol, tag, day of week, entry hour, and by result (TP vs SL)
• Which mistakes cost you the most, and your winning and losing streaks
SIGNALS THAT SHOW THEIR WORKING
• Monitor any symbols you choose on 1-minute to daily candles
• Each candle is checked against MACD crossover, trend EMA and volume rules
• Every check is shown with its real numbers, for example:
"MACD 2.66 vs signal 2.53 — crossed up this candle"
"Close 7,665.46 is above EMA 7,655.27"
"Volume 2,094 vs average 1,766 (1.19×)"
• When there is no signal it tells you which check failed, instead of staying silent
• Optional extras: RSI momentum, a minimum ATR, session VWAP, and a trading-hours window
• One click turns a signal into a journal entry, a note or a price alert
• Every parameter is yours to change in Settings
PRICES, CHARTS AND NEWS
• Watchlist for stocks, ETFs, futures, forex, crypto and indices, with sparklines
• Search by name — type "apple", "micro e-mini", "eurusd" or "btc"
• Symbols are shown the way traders write them: MES, EUR/USD, BTC/USD, S&P 500
• Charts from TradingView's free widget, plus a built-in candle chart for futures
• Headlines from CNBC, Yahoo Finance, MarketWatch, Nasdaq and Investing.com, grouped into
Your symbols, Crypto, Forex, Commodities, Economy, Indices and Companies
• One Sync button refreshes prices, signals and news together
RISK TOOLS
• Price alerts above or below any level, with a desktop notification
• Position size calculator: account size, risk percent and stop distance give you the size
• Daily loss limit and maximum trades per day, with a warning when you reach them
NOTES FROM ANYWHERE
• Select text on any page, right-click, and save it as a trade note with the source link
• Search your notes, filter them by result, and jump from a note to its trade
YOUR DATA
• Stored only in your browser. Export everything as JSON, or your journal as CSV, at any time
• No account, no analytics, nothing uploaded
IMPORTANT
Prices, candles and news are delayed and come from public sources, so treat signals and alerts as
prompts to go and look — not as execution triggers. The risk limits are your own reminders; the
extension cannot block an order at your broker or prop firm. Nothing here is financial advice.
