Fetch a TikTok clip as MP4 - HD or SD, H.264, H.265 or BYTEVC1 - or lift its audio track to MP3.

Players and editing programs are fussy about codecs, so TikMate asks before it fetches anything. Open its menu on the TikTok video, say whether you want HD or SD and which codec suits the thing you will play the file in, and the clip arrives as an MP4 in your downloads folder. If the sound was the point, TikMate can take the audio track by itself instead.

The codec is your call on every single download: H.264, H.265 (HEVC) or BYTEVC1.
HD or SD sits in the same menu, decided on the spot rather than fixed somewhere in advance.
That menu opens from a button TikMate places on the TikTok video you are viewing.
Video arrives as MP4, the format that travels best between phones, laptops and TVs.
The clip's original audio track can be lifted out on its own as an MP3.
Nothing leaves the machine: the work is done locally, and no user data is transmitted.
