Threadwing is a local-first workspace for long conversations across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Kimi, and Doubao.

• Keeps each provider's native scrolling intact while browser-native deferred rendering reduces work for older completed turns. No custom wheel interception and no zero-height message shells.
• Builds a prompt-first virtual timeline from the complete history available on the active provider, with full-text search, role and content filters, message selection, jump-to-source navigation, and one-click expand all.
• Clearly separates prompts, answers, reasoning, and tool activity. Long prompts, replies, reasoning, and tool output can start folded and expand on demand.
• Exports selected messages or prompts only to deterministic Markdown, text, versioned JSON, self-contained HTML, and print/PDF. Exports preserve chat titles, timestamps, models, safe source links, tables, formulas, and selectable syntax-highlighted code.
• Uses provider-aware adapters and a shared normalized conversation model so additional AI services can be added without duplicating search, timeline, or export logic.

Threadwing runs entirely in your browser. It has no backend, account system, analytics, advertising, telemetry, or conversation upload. Conversation data and its local search index remain in extension-origin storage on your device.
