Theater Mode Everywhere enlarges HTML5 players to fill the entire browser window, providing a convenient cinematic experience without headers, sidebars, comments and recommendations.

Watch tutorials, streams, videos, and short clips with custom playback controls. Use subtitles, keyboard shortcuts, video fit and volume controls, plus additional features on supported platforms.

Optional Rich Theater Experience adds deeper integrations with YouTube, Vimeo, Patreon, Twitch and Disney+. Depending on the site, the extension may display subtitles, chapters, thumbnail previews, and additional information on the timeline. The feature is still experimental, so its capabilities vary between platforms.

MAIN FEATURES
- One-key immersive mode: press T to instantly enlarge the active video into browser view. Press again or Escape to return. If there are several videos on the page, use Shift+T to switch them.
- Better subtitle support: select a track directly in cinema mode, turn subtitles on and off with the C key, and adjust font, size, color, shadow, background and opacity. The extension remembers your preferred language separately for each website.
- Rich Theater Experience (experimental): enable additional integrations with YouTube, Vimeo, Patreon, Twitch and Disney+. Available features depend on the website and can be managed in the extension popup or in settings.
- A richer timeline: jump between chapters, preview thumbnails before seeking, and see YouTube's Most Replayed moments.
- Video Fit: Press Z or use the button in the player to toggle Fit, Fill and Stretch and remove black bars without additional extension.
- Elegant custom controls: modern control bar with vertical volume and playback speed panels, semi-transparent tooltips, and remaining and played time indicators.
- Volume Boost (up to 300%): Amplify quiet videos up to 300% using the Web Audio API, with a non-linear slider for precise control and a settings toggle.
- Visual HUD: Elegant animated overlays for changing volume, seeking, and toggling play/pause.
- Shadow DOM support: finds and magnifies players hidden in modern shadow roots, improving compatibility with more sites.
- Custom shortcuts and settings: configure keys to toggle theater mode, seek, manage subtitles, resize subtitles, and step frame by frame. In-player help helps you check all the shortcuts.
- Exclusion list: exclude specific domains via popup in browser bar or options page to avoid conflicts with native page layout.

OPERATION
- Universal HTML5 Video: Works with standard HTML5 video elements on the web, including players placed in the Shadow DOM.
- Embedded Players: Detects and enlarges videos embedded in frames, such as YouTube or Vimeo players.
- HTML5 Subtitles: Displays standard HTML5 subtitle tracks in their own cinema mode overlay so you can customize their appearance.
- Platform Integrations: Rich Theater Experience can add subtitles, chapters, preview thumbnails, and more on YouTube, Vimeo, Patreon, Twitch, and Disney+. Available features depend on the service and video.
- Live broadcasts: recognizes LIVE broadcasts and, if the service provides a DVR window, allows you to rewind the recording and return to the current moment.
- DRM-protected services: some platforms limit access to the player, so some functions may be unavailable on them.

HOW TO START
1. Open a video site, such as a streaming platform, news site, or blog.
2. Press T to enter cinema mode. Make sure you are not writing in the text box.
3. Use the player controls or shortcuts: C toggles subtitles, Left and Right seek, and the configurable frame-step shortcuts move frame by frame.
4. On supported platforms, enable Rich Theater Experience in the extension popup or settings.
5. Press Escape or T again to exit theater mode.
