Tab Sampler captures audio from HTML5 players (YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify Web, etc.) in the active tab and turns it into an editable sample. The editor includes a millisecond-precision zoomable waveform, selection, trim, reverse playback, loop, and WAV/MP3 export. Recordings are saved locally in a library (IndexedDB) — no microphone is used and no audio is sent to any server.

Note: it captures audio that plays through an <audio> or <video> DOM element; it cannot capture audio generated directly via the Web Audio API (e.g. most in-browser games or synthesizers).

Tab Sampler captura el audio de reproductores HTML5 (YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify Web, etc.) en la pestaña activa y lo convierte en un sample listo para editar. El editor incluye waveform con zoom de precisión en milisegundos, selección, recorte (trim), reproducción invertida (reverse), loop, y exportación a WAV o MP3. Todas las grabaciones se guardan localmente en una biblioteca (IndexedDB) — no se usa micrófono ni se envía audio a ningún servidor.

Nota: captura audio que pasa por un elemento <audio> o <video> del DOM; no captura audio generado directamente con Web Audio API (por ejemplo, la mayoría de juegos o sintetizadores en el navegador).
