SSSTwitter puts a download button straight onto the posts you scroll past on X. When a post carries a video or a GIF, the button is right there on it - no copying the link, no pasting it into another site, no leaving the timeline. Pick the version you want and the file is saved through the browser's ordinary save flow.

1. Install SSSTwitter and open x.com or twitter.com in Firefox.
2. Scroll to a post that has a video or a GIF; the SSSTwitter button appears on it.
3. Click the button and choose the version you want.
4. Confirm the save and the browser writes the file to your downloads folder.

SSSTwitter runs locally in your browser and sends no user data to any server. There is no account, no sign-up, no tracking and no analytics. Your filename pattern is kept in local browser storage on your own device and nowhere else.
