SSSInsta - Download Video Instagram by ahihi

SSSInsta is a save control for the Instagram media you already have open - a Reel, a feed video, a photo, a single Carousel slide or a Story. It writes out the file at the resolution the post itself delivers, with no re-encoding step in between. The result is an archive copy that is still worth keeping a month later.

Instagram only. SSSInsta is active on instagram.com and does nothing on any other website. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Instagram or Meta.

1. Install SSSInsta and open instagram.com in Firefox.
2. Open the settings page once if you want to set your filename format and datetime format.
3. Go to the Reel, photo post, Carousel slide or Story you want to keep and click the SSSInsta control on the media.
4. The file is written through the page and your browser's ordinary save flow, into the folder your browser already uses.

SSSInsta runs locally in your browser and sends no user data to any server. There is no account, no sign-up, no tracking and no analytics. The only thing it stores is your own configuration - filename format and datetime format - and that stays in local browser storage on this computer.
