Text Expander — SnippetForge by Sapir

It just works — in inputs, textareas, and rich-text editors across the web. And it never sees a
single keystroke leave your machine.

That last part is the point. A text expander, by definition, watches what you type — so who you
trust matters. SnippetForge checks your keystrokes locally, in your browser, against your own
triggers. Nothing is stored, nothing is transmitted, there is no account and no analytics.

TYPE LESS, SAY THE SAME THING
• Type a short trigger — ;sig, ;addr, ;ty — press Space, and the full text appears in place
• Works in inputs, textareas, and rich-text editors like Gmail
• Undo-safe: expansions go through the browser's own editing stack, so Ctrl+Z works exactly as if

• SnippetForge has no paid tier of its own. There is nothing to buy here and no trial to run out
• Two placeholders need a Sapir Software Pro key, which comes with our other extensions:
{clipboard} drops your clipboard contents into the expansion, and {cursor} parks the caret
mid-snippet so you land where the variable part goes
• Without a key those two insert literally — every snippet keeps working exactly as written

• 100% local: keystrokes are matched in memory against your triggers, in a rolling buffer just long
enough to match the longest one
