About this extension

SnapSave is a single small tool that replaces the handful of separate downloaders most people end up installing. All of the work, including rebuilding a clip whose sound arrives as its own stream, is carried out inside your copy of Firefox rather than on somebody else's converter. Install it once and it covers every feed you already use.

Wait for the local merge if that clip needs one, after which Firefox drops the finished file into your downloads.

Everything SnapSave does happens locally in the browser, and no user data is sent to any server. Nobody signs up, nothing is tracked, no analytics library is bundled, and your 7 preferences never leave the local browser storage on your computer. Because the bundled ffmpeg WebAssembly module performs the audio and video merge on your own machine, media is never uploaded for processing.
