Slimcord — Privacy Policy

Slimcord does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any data, personal or otherwise.

What Slimcord does

Slimcord changes how Discord's own web app (discord.com, canary.discord.com, ptb.discord.com) is displayed in your browser — hiding and showing parts of its layout based on window size or your own choices. That's the entire purpose of the code.

What Slimcord stores

Your preferences (which panels are auto-hidden, at what widths, dock position, dock style, and whether you've turned off the occasional support reminder) are saved locally on your device only, using the browser's built-in storage API. Nobody but you — not even the developer — can see these settings.

What Slimcord does not do

No network requests of any kind
No analytics, telemetry, or usage tracking
No cookies
No third-party scripts, trackers, or embeds
No access to your Discord messages, account, tokens, or any content beyond the layout elements it hides or shows
No data is sold or shared with anyone, because none is collected in the first place

Permissions

The extension requests exactly two things: storage, to save your preferences locally, and access to discord.com, canary.discord.com, and ptb.discord.com, so the layout changes can be applied there. Nothing else.

Links you may click

The popup links out to a Ko-fi support page — a separate site with its own privacy policy, outside Slimcord's control. The "Troubleshoot" feature only prints information to your own local browser console for debugging; it sends nothing anywhere.
