About this extension
SAM.gov to SuiteCRM is an internal productivity tool for teams that track U.S. federal contracting opportunities on SAM.gov and manage their pipeline in a self-hosted SuiteCRM.
How it works:
1. Open any contract opportunity page on sam.gov (URLs containing /opp/…/view).
2. Click the "Send to SuiteCRM" button that the extension adds to the page.
3. Review the preview card, which shows the data read from SAM.gov and exactly which CRM records will be created or updated.
4. Click "Create in SuiteCRM" to confirm. Nothing is written to the CRM until you confirm.
Records created in SuiteCRM:
- Account: the awarding agency and contracting office (name, hierarchy, office address).
- Contacts: the primary and secondary points of contact (name, title, email, phone), linked to the Account.
- Opportunity: notice title, sales stage, response deadline as the close date, solicitation number, NAICS, place of performance and the full notice text, linked to the Account and primary Contact.
- Note: a full SAM.gov summary with a link back to the original notice, attached to the Opportunity.
Re-running the extension on the same notice is safe: existing records are matched and updated or linked instead of duplicated.
Setup: in the extension's options page enter your SuiteCRM URL and API credentials (SuiteCRM 8.x OAuth2 client, or a SuiteCRM 7.10+ API key), click "Test connection" and save. Account naming, sales stages and other mapping choices can be adjusted there too.
Privacy: the extension communicates only with sam.gov (to read public opportunity data) and with the SuiteCRM server you configure. Credentials are stored locally in the browser. No data is sent to the developer or any third party, and no analytics are collected.
