This extension is made to make proofreading of chosen textfields on a webpage of your choice - for example in your CMS.
We need to store a few configurations to make the browser extension work in a way that make sense for the users, e.g. choice of language, and choice of selected text fields to be proofread. This functionality is made to avoid that users should reconfigure settings every time the extension is used.
We need access to the current tab to extract and inject text. This text is the one that the extension is spell checking and proofreading.
We need to extract content text from text fields to allow for proofreading in the browser extension.
Only users with an account to our sevice can use it. We need to allow users to login using our OAuth2 Identity service.
We allow users to control what pages (specific urls) the extension is allowed to extract text from and inject to.
