Latest version
Version 3.0.0
Released Sep 26, 2026 - 149.73 KBWorks with firefox 142.0 and laterResearch Hub 3.0.0
• Research Sidebar is now Research Hub and brings three add-ons into one sidebar: “Quotes” (the quotes as before), “Wissen” (formerly Knowledge Hub) and “Article” (formerly Knowledge Capture).
• A tab bar replaces the header: more compact, with the quote count on “Quotes” and the settings of the tab shown at its end.
• More room for quotes and notes: capture, “Notiz” and search share one row; courts, authorities, Google and site: open as a menu. Note fields use the card's full width.
• Your own notes are light yellow, and quotes and notes carry a small mark instead of the large quotation mark. The colour palettes now reach the tabs, collections and sources.
• “Hub →” is now “Wissen →”. Collections and articles sent before are updated when sent again, not doubled.
• The Wissen library moves over once: “JSON exportieren” in the old Knowledge Hub, “JSON ersetzen” in Research Hub → Wissen.
• New permissions “bookmarks” and “unlimitedStorage”, both from Knowledge Hub.Source code released under All Rights Reserved

Version 2.13.0
Released Sep 25, 2026 - 83.62 KBWorks with firefox 142.0 and laterResearch Sidebar 2.13.0
• A new look shared by the whole family: an app bar with the add-on's mark and how many quotes from how many sources the collection holds, then “Auswahl erfassen” with its undo button and the searches (courts, authorities, Google, site:) as labelled buttons.
• The interface is now in German.
• Clear, copy, TXT, Word, all collections and “Hub →” sit in a floating bar at the bottom. Settings and sending to Knowledge Hub open as a sheet.
• One layout instead of two: every quote is its own card, its source cited after it. The Classic/Cards setting is gone.
• The empty row under every quote is gone. Note fields show focus as a fine line inside the field again, instead of a ring spilling onto their neighbours.
• New collections are called “Sammlung 1” to “Sammlung 4”. Exported text (TXT, Word, clipboard) is unchanged.Source code released under All Rights Reserved
Version 2.12.0
Released Sep 11, 2026 - 54.22 KBWorks with firefox 142.0 and laterResearch Sidebar 2.12.0
• A fourth collection. Existing collections keep their number and their contents; the fourth arrives empty.
• The numbers are wider and share the row evenly. The 📌 note button is no longer the last cell inside their frame but a button of its own beside it, and it visibly stays pressed while the note is open.
• The collection name now sits as a thin strip above the note instead of between the numbers and the count. It is one line high, quietly set and frameless — typing in it turns it into a field.
• At the foot, the button that empties a collection says "Clear" instead of 🧹, is red, and comes first in the row. It still asks a second time.
• "All-in-one" has become 🗂: grey while the switch is off, coloured once every collection goes into one document.
• The grey rule above the footer is gone; the footer now carries an opaque ground.

Version 2.11.0
Released Sep 11, 2026 - 53.42 KBWorks with firefox 142.0 and laterResearch Sidebar 2.11.0
• The export is organised by source: a rule opens each quote, the quotes from one page run on under each other, and that page closes the group a paragraph below the last of them. Nothing is numbered any more.
• The Word document is now laid out rather than transcribed: Helvetica, a shaded band per source, a full-width divider above each quote, and clickable source links.
• New "All-in-one" switch beside the export buttons: Copy, TXT and Word then put all three collections into a single document, one page each.
• Clipboard, TXT and Word are rendered from the same export model, so they show the same quotes, in the same order, under the same sources.
• With "Date/time" on, the capture time sits at the right end of the rule.
• In the sidebar, the magnifier the exports use now marks each source, the rule beside a quote is finer, source links are coloured more quietly, and the delete cross sits only beside its own quote's note.
