Latest version
Version 0.4.0
Released Sep 14, 2026 - 108.33 KBWorks with firefox 121.0 and laterVersion 0.4.0
The panel now stays open while you move between issues. On an issue the room
isn't pointing yet, it offers "Point this issue" (or "Point again" if it already
has an estimate), and it survives a full page reload.
New for facilitators
- The panel shows the room name and the ticket being pointed.
- After confirming an estimate, "Next up" suggests the next unestimated issue on
your project. "Point next" takes you there and starts the round.
- Reveal is disabled until someone has played. The confirm dropdown defaults the
same way the web room does (closest card to the average) and says so.
- Reconnect button if the room connection drops for good.
New for teammates
- Clicking a "Vote now" notification lands you straight in the room.
- Observe / Vote toggle, remembered per room.
- Names under each seat.
Everywhere
- Pull request pages get the Point in Repoker button too.
- First run: the toolbar icon shows a badge, and the popup walks you through
sign-in and your first issue.
- Sign-in happens inside the panel, with a short explanation first.
- Move the panel to the left, or collapse it to a status pill.
- The panel follows GitHub's light theme.
- Toolbar popup: "Point this issue" or "Join the vote" for the tab you're on, an
explanation of the Notifications toggle, a Help link and the version number.
- Room picker shows your org's avatar when you're in several orgs.
- Screen reader support: the panel is a dialog, cards and seats are labeled, and
reveals and confirms are announced.
Permissions
- Adds activeTab, used only when you open the popup, to recognize the GitHub
issue in the current tab.Source code released under All Rights Reserved

The Point in Repoker button is now live: when your team starts estimating the issue you're viewing, it shows who's already in the room and joins you into the round in one click. If the session moves on to another ticket, the panel offers to take you there and reopens automatically. Reopening an already-estimated ticket now shows its estimate and when it was last pointed, with a one-click re-vote.
New toolbar popup: click the Repoker icon to see who's signed in, sign out, toggle notifications, or open the app. With notifications enabled, Repoker can alert you when your team starts a round, even if you don't have the issue open.
