Whats included?

Whats included:

New: ghost-job scoring

Every job posting now gets a score (Likely ghost job / Possible ghost job / Few warning signs) instead of a simple warning.
A banner shows the score, and a Details button lists exactly which signals were found.

New warning signs detected

Posting age in tiers (30+, 60+, 90+ days), including the hidden post date that job sites put in the page's code for search engines
Listings still live after their own stated expiry date, or set to stay open more than 6 months
Statements that no vacancy exists or the role won't be filled within 90 days (matches Ontario's 2026 job-posting rules and New York's proposed ghost-job law)
Resume-collecting language: "talent pool", "future opportunities", "evergreen", "always accepting applications"
No pay listed, or pay ranges that are unusually wide
Very short descriptions, heavy buzzwords, or no named team or manager
Senior job titles that ask for entry-level experience
Staffing agencies posting for an unnamed "confidential client"
100+ applicants but still open after several weeks
"No longer accepting applications" still showing

New: good signs that lower the score

Posted within the last week
"Actively reviewing applicants", "Responsive employer" or "Typically responds within" labels
A stated real vacancy
A reasonable, specific pay range

Improved repost detection

Remembers jobs across visits and flags the same job still advertised 14+ or 30+ days after you first saw it
Catches a job reposted under a new listing ID

Shows the full score breakdown for the current page
Choose when the banner appears: all jobs, possible or likely, or likely only
Shows how many jobs are tracked, with a button to clear history

Better site support

Works on LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter and other major job boards, plus company career sites (Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Ashby and more)
Updates automatically as you click between jobs on LinkedIn and Indeed, without a page reload

Fixed the extension failing to load in 1.0
Fixed a page check that could crash the scan
The banner can now be closed
The banner no longer shows on pages that aren't job postings

Privacy

No data leaves your browser. Job history is stored only in the extension's local storage.
Removed the broad access to all websites that 1.0 requested separately.
