Persian New Tab by orion

Custom New Tab replaces Firefox's default new tab (and home page) with a clean, dark-themed dashboard you fully control.

Key features:
- Editable tile dashboard — organize your favorite links into named categories, add or remove sites anytime, and everything is saved locally in your browser.
- Drag and drop — reorder categories, reorder tiles within a category, or drag tiles between categories.
- Custom layout — use the sliders in Settings to choose how many categories appear per row and how many columns each category has.
- Live clock and Jalali (Persian) date — always visible at the top of the page.
- Smart favicon fetching with offline caching — icons are fetched from multiple sources (with a bundled fallback icon if none is found) and cached locally, so they keep showing up even without an internet connection. A "clear favicon cache" option is available if you ever want to refresh them.
- Export / Import — back up or transfer all your categories, sites, and settings as plain text.
- Bundled IRANSansWeb font for clean Persian/Farsi text rendering.
- Privacy-first: no analytics, no tracking, no data collection of any kind. Everything — your sites, settings, and cached icons — stays only in your own browser.
