Privacy policy for PaneMux
PaneMux does not collect, transmit, sell or share any data. It makes no network requests of its own.
What it stores, all in your browser's own extension storage:
- Settings and remapped keys: in browser sync storage, so they follow your browser profile if you
use Firefox Sync (or Chrome sync). You can turn sync off in your browser. - Macros, marks, saved tab groups, Vimgolf rounds: on your device. Small tab groups and, if you opt
in, your Vimgolf leaderboard are also kept in sync storage. - Undo history (closed tabs, hidden elements, form edits): in session storage, in memory only. It's
gone when the browser quits. Password, credit-card and one-time-code fields are never recorded.
Page content is only read to carry out a command you gave (for example, copying the paragraph you asked
to copy). None of it leaves your device except through your own clipboard.
Removing the add-on removes everything it stored.
