PageBunker does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no sign-up, no account, and no server. It contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking code.


None. PageBunker does not send any data to the developer or to any third party. The article content and links you save stay on your device, as described below.


PageBunker keeps the following only on your device:

• Saved articles: title, author, publish date, body, and link
• Tags, reading positions, read status, and library state (To read, Read, Archive, Trash)
• Settings
• The 3 most recent backup copies, stored inside the browser
• Backup files in the PageBunker folder in your Downloads folder: pagebunker-latest.json and dated files (up to the latest 7)
• Files you choose to export (HTML or Markdown)

Articles in Trash are deleted automatically after 30 days. Removing the extension removes the data stored inside the browser. Backup and export files in your Downloads folder are ordinary files and stay until you delete them.


The extension makes no network requests on its own. When you save an article, it reads the page that is already open in your tab.

A request goes to a website only when you:

• Open the original page of a saved article
• Load images for an article, or turn on image loading in settings

These requests go directly from your browser to that website. Images are not loaded by default.
