OLED Night works inside your browser. The developer collects no data and operates no analytics, advertising, tracking, or data-collection servers.

Settings (on/off, appearance, brightness, contrast, schedule, and per-site choices) are saved in your browser’s sync storage and may sync through your browser account. The developer cannot see them.

To recolor pages, the extension reads element colors locally. It does not automatically transmit page content.

If you click “Report a broken site,” a diagnostic file is saved to your computer. It contains the site address, extension settings, diagnostic details, and short text snippets (up to 30 characters) from low-contrast text. No screenshot is captured. The file is not uploaded automatically; review it before choosing to share it.

Website access allows recoloring pages. Storage saves settings; activeTab supports the current-site controls; scripting supports the optional experimental closed-web-component feature.
