Odoo Domain Builder has no advertising, analytics, telemetry, or developer-operated data collection service.

Data sent to your Odoo server

When you connect the add-on to an Odoo tab, it uses your existing authenticated session to request model and field information. Record searches send your search text to that server. Data
previews send your domain filters, condition values, and selected fields.

These requests go only to your selected Odoo server and follow your account’s access permissions. Your server’s normal logging and privacy practices apply. The add-on does not create,
update, or delete business records.

The add-on does not ask for passwords or API keys, read cookie values, or save credentials. No search, domain, or record data is sent to the developer.

Data stored locally

Domain drafts, entered values, selected record IDs, model and connection context, and display preferences are stored locally in your browser. The add-on does not synchronize this
information.

Field information, search results, and previewed records are held temporarily in memory and discarded when you close the wizard. Uninstalling the add-on removes its local storage.

Browser permissions

The add-on uses activeTab and scripting to run its packaged request code in the Odoo tab you select. It does not request permanent access to all websites or inspect unrelated tabs or
browsing history.

Firefox displays the required searchTerms and websiteContent data declarations during installation. These cover searches and request content sent to your selected Odoo server.

Clipboard

Clicking Copy Domain writes the generated domain to your clipboard. The add-on does not read your clipboard. Any operating-system clipboard synchronization is controlled separately.

Your choices

You can use manual mode to build domains offline. You can clear the current domain using Clear all or remove the add-on to delete its locally stored data.

Policy changes

This policy will be updated if the add-on’s data handling practices change.
