Speeds up Axis camera registration by removing the manual typing step.

Every Axis device ships with a label carrying its serial number and Owner Authentication Key. Entering those by hand for each camera is slow and easy to get wrong — an OAK is long, case-sensitive, and a single mistyped character means the registration silently fails.

Oak Scanner adds two buttons directly to camera registration pages:

Open Webcam — point your laptop camera at the device label and the QR code is read on the spot.
Scan with reader — use a connected USB or Bluetooth barcode reader for faster bulk work.

Either way, the serial number and OAK fields are filled in for you. Scan, confirm, submit.

Built for anyone registering more than a handful of devices: integrators doing site rollouts, warehouse staff pre-provisioning stock, and support teams onboarding cameras remotely.

All scanning happens locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded, stored, or sent anywhere.
