What nocookiestoday does:
nocookiestoday runs in your browser and automatically selects a Reject, Decline, or Necessary Only option when a cookie consent pop-up appears on a page you visit. It never selects Accept, Agree, or a similar option on your behalf.

What information is used;
The only website-related information nocookiestoday uses is the domain of the page you're currently on, for example example.com. This is used for two things only:

Checking whether you've chosen to skip that website (your whitelist):
Labeling an entry in your local activity log, so you can see what was handled and where
nocookiestoday does not read, store, or transmit page content, form data, passwords, browsing history, or any other information from the pages you visit.

Where your data lives:
Your settings, whitelist, and activity log are stored locally in your browser's own storage (chrome.storage.local). None of it is synced to a server, sent to nocookiestoday's developer, or shared with any third party. Uninstalling the extension removes this data.

What nocookiestoday does not do:
- No account or sign-up of any kind
- No analytics SDKs
- No advertising trackers or third-party tracking
- No user profiling
- No remote collection of browsing history
- No sale or sharing of data, because none is collected

Permissions:
nocookiestoday requests the storage permission, so your settings, whitelist, and activity log can be saved locally, and it runs a content script on pages you visit so it can recognize and act on cookie consent pop-ups. Neither permission is used to collect or transmit data off your device.

Changes to this policy:
If this policy changes, the update will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date above.
