About this extension
- Blocks pre-roll and mid-roll ads on Twitch live streams by switching to an ad-free backup stream while an ad break runs, then back to the main stream once it is clean.
- Waits until the main stream has been ad-free for several checks before switching back, so multi-part ad breaks no longer leak through.
- Tries additional anonymous backup stream types when Twitch flags the regular ones.
- Recovers automatically when the player gets stuck after a stream switch (up to 5 attempts, then it stops).
- Counts blocked ad breaks and shows the total in the toolbar popup.
- "Last 7 days" chart in the popup.
- Statistics are stored only in your browser and survive browser restarts.
- One-click reset.
- Optional in-video banner while an ad break is being blocked.
- English and German translations.
- VODs, clips and highlights no longer reload or loop endlessly.
- Rewound (DVR) live streams are no longer reloaded.
- Offline channels no longer show the "blocking ads" banner or add to the blocked-ads count.
- A paused stream is no longer resumed when an ad break ends.
- Daily statistics no longer reset to 0.
- Fixed a player crash caused by blocked picture-by-picture ad requests.
- Reduced CPU usage of the injected script.
