PRIVACY POLICY - MeshDepot Importer

WHO RECEIVES YOUR DATA

Nobody but you. This extension has no server of its own. Everything it sends
goes to the MeshDepot instance whose address you enter in its options - a server
you run yourself. The developer receives nothing. There is no telemetry, no
analytics and no third-party service involved.

WHAT IS SENT TO YOUR MESHDEPOT INSTANCE

When you press the import button on a model page: the address of that page, the
download links for its files, and the design's title, description, pictures and
tags. Nothing is sent unless you press import.

Download links from these platforms can contain a time-limited access token, so
that your own server is able to fetch the files. Such a link is passed on
unchanged and is only valid for that one download.

WHAT IS STORED ON YOUR DEVICE

The address of your MeshDepot instance, its API key, and your two settings
(whether the browser download is cancelled, and whether imports are added to a
collection). These stay in the browser's local extension storage and are never
sent anywhere except to your own instance, as the API key must be, to
authenticate you.

COOKIES

On MakerWorld the extension reads the session cookie of the site in order to
make requests to MakerWorld in your name - the same session you are already
signed in with. It is used for those requests only. Cookies of other sites are
not read, and no cookie is sent to any party other than the site it belongs to.

WHAT IS NOT COLLECTED

No browsing history, no pages other than the model page you import from, no
personal profile data, no passwords and no two-factor codes. The extension
deliberately uses your existing browser session precisely so that no platform
credentials ever have to be handed over.
