MeeSort is a privacy-first browser extension that processes Meesho product information locally in the user's browser.

DATA COLLECTION
MeeSort does not collect, sell, transmit, or share personal information. It does not require an account or registration and does not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, passwords, payment information, or general browsing history.

DATA PROCESSED
When you use MeeSort on https://www.meesho.com/, the extension reads product information already displayed on the page, such as product names, prices, ratings, discounts, product URLs, and image URLs. This information is processed locally in the browser to provide sorting, filtering, and product discovery features.

LOCAL STORAGE
MeeSort may use browser-local storage to save extension preferences. This information remains on the user's device and is not transmitted to MeeSort or a third party.

DATA SHARING AND TRACKING
MeeSort does not operate an external backend or database and does not send product or personal information to external servers. The extension does not contain analytics, advertising trackers, telemetry, or tracking beacons.

PERMISSIONS
The extension requests access to Meesho pages at https://www.meesho.com/* so it can read product information and provide its sorting and filtering functionality. The storage permission is used for local extension preferences. The activeTab permission is used for interaction with the currently active Meesho tab.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
MeeSort does not intentionally transmit user data to third-party services.

MeeSort is open source and its source code can be publicly inspected.
