1. What the extension sends to us
   MediaGrabber Pro requires a license key. To activate and periodically validate it, the extension sends to our license server (https://mediagrabber-api.onrender.com):
2. your license key,
3. a random installation ID generated by the extension (not linked to your browsing),
4. an operating-system label (e.g. "Windows"), used to count activations per device.
   Nothing else is sent. This is declared in the add-on manifest as "authenticationInfo".
5. What the extension does NOT collect
6. No browsing history, page URLs or page content are sent to us or to any third party.
7. The media you scan and save is processed locally on your computer. Files go straight from the website to your Downloads folder (or through the optional MediaGrabber helper app, which runs locally on your computer).
8. No analytics, tracking or advertising code runs inside the extension.
9. Data stored on your device
   Settings, routing rules, favorites, download history/library and license status are stored locally with the browser's storage API. They never leave your device, and uninstalling the extension removes them.
10. Account and billing data
    If you buy a plan or create an account on our website, we process your name, email address and billing status to issue licenses. Payment details are held by our payment provider, not by us. We do not sell personal information and share data only with the processors needed to run the service (payment, email, hosting).
11. Retention and your rights
    License data is kept while your license is active. After account deletion we remove or anonymize personal data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it (e.g. invoices). You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your data at any time.
