Lesefluss is designed especially for long, vertically scrolling manhwa and webtoon chapters. The page moves at your reading pace so you can focus on the story and artwork. It also works for long articles and other web pages.

Why I built Lesefluss

I read a lot of manhwa and originally built Lesefluss for myself. I wanted a dependable add-on for long reading sessions: steady scrolling, a speed I could fine-tune and the freedom to adjust my position with the mouse whenever I wanted. Above all, I did not want a control window covering the panels. That is how Lesefluss started, and I am making it available free of charge to other readers too.

Made for reading

• Keep every panel in view: no control overlays on your reading page. Play/Pause is in the Firefox toolbar.
• Set your pace: 1 to 500 pixels per second, scrolling down or up. Save settings for each website.
• Adjust your position freely: mouse wheel, touchpad, scroll keys and scrollbar movement take priority. Automatic playback stays enabled and resumes gently afterward.
• Pause deliberately: use Play/Pause, your shortcut, Escape or a press of the middle mouse button.
• Choose your own keys: Home, arrows or letters, including single keys without Ctrl or Alt. They do not trigger while you type in text fields.
• Change speed quickly: right-click the toolbar icon for speed, direction and settings. The separate speed window offers direct entry, plus/minus buttons and a slider, and closes after confirmation.
• At the page edge: stop, reverse direction or wait for more content, with an adjustable delay.
• Optional: continue after navigation, start automatically or scroll in the background.

Private and distraction-free

No ads, telemetry or transmission of your page content. Settings stay local in Firefox. This edition has an English interface; a German edition is available separately. Enable only one language edition at a time.

Single-key shortcuts, automatic start and continuation after navigation need optional website access. Firefox asks when you save those settings. Normal Play/Pause works after clicking the toolbar icon.

For Firefox Desktop 142 and later. Protected Firefox pages, the add-ons store, the internal PDF viewer and cross-origin embedded frames are not supported. Scrolling behavior can vary between websites, and Firefox may slow down or suspend background tabs.
