When ChatGPT answers a question with web search, it does not search for what you typed. It rewrites your prompt into several search queries of its own, opens a set of pages, and then quotes only a few of them. All of that happens out of sight.

GEO Reactor makes that step visible.

What it shows you

• The fan-out queries. Every search ChatGPT actually ran, grouped by round of the conversation.
• Your words vs. the AI's words. Each query is labelled "your words" when ChatGPT searched your prompt verbatim, "AI rewrote" when it invented its own phrasing, and "search in example.com" when it used a site: operator.
• A "no rewrite" note when ChatGPT ran your prompt as-is and never reformulated it.
• The pages behind each round. Expand any round to see the sources it pulled, with the domain, the page title, the retrieval channel, and a "cited" badge on the ones that made it into the answer.
• Browsing actions. When ChatGPT opens a link, clicks, quotes, scrolls or goes back, those steps are listed too.
• A drift warning. If ChatGPT changes its internal response format and part of the data can no longer be read, the panel flags it instead of silently showing you less.

How you use it

1. Open a ChatGPT conversation that used web search.
2. Click the GEO Reactor Light toolbar button to open the sidebar.
3. Press Capture.

The sidebar also listens passively while an answer streams in, so queries and sources are picked up as they appear.

Working with the results

• Filter bar - type to narrow the queries down live.
• Copy - copy a single query, or copy the whole Fan-out view as text.
• Search on Google - one click to run any of ChatGPT's queries yourself.
• Export CSV - sources, brand scorecard, fan-out queries, claim-to-source map and rich-result widgets, in one spreadsheet-ready file.
• Export JSON - the complete capture, for your own tooling.
• Export Markdown - a formatted report you can paste into a document.

Exports are written through Firefox's normal download prompt, so you choose where the file goes.

My brand (optional)

The gear icon lets you save a list of your own domains and a list of competitor domains, plus a technical-detail toggle. These lists are stored on your machine and are used by the wider GEO Reactor product; in this Light build they are saved but not yet shown in the Fan-out view.

Languages

English, Bulgarian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Russian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The panel picks your Firefox language automatically and you can change it from the header at any time.

Privacy

GEO Reactor Light has no server. It has no account, no login, no telemetry, no analytics and no ads. Nothing it reads is sent anywhere. Captures, your language choice and your domain lists live in Firefox's local extension storage on your own computer, and you can delete them by removing the add-on. The only network requests it makes are to ChatGPT itself, using the session you are already logged into, to read the conversation you asked it to capture.

Scope

It works on chatgpt.com and chat.openai.com. It reads conversations; it never writes to them, never sends messages on your behalf, and never changes what ChatGPT shows you.
