Hardware Key Passkey Redirect by superoci

Prefer your USB/NFC hardware security key over built-in passkeys? This extension catches websites' silent passkey-autofill prompts (WebAuthn conditional mediation) and offers a choice: sign in with your key, or continue with the site's passkeys.

• Sign in with hardware key — re-runs the site's own login as a pop-up that asks for your security key instead of a built-in passkey. The site's challenge and account scope stay exactly the same; only the authenticator choice is steered toward roaming keys.
• Continue with site's passkeys — leaves the site untouched; its normal passkey / password autofill proceeds as if the extension wasn't here.

You choose per prompt, or set a global default (ask every time, always convert, or off) in the toolbar popup. Only use the hardware key where you already registered one — otherwise the site will reject the attempt.

Note: browsers treat the hardware-key preference as a hint, not a hard rule, so on some sites built-in options may still appear alongside it.

Privacy: the extension collects nothing, makes no network requests, and stores only your ask/auto/off preference locally.
