GLCH Sync sends the URL of the page you choose to sync, along with basic playback state (playing/paused, timestamp), to globalchalet.ca — the private Chauvet server this extension is built for — so it can keep everyone in the same room synced. It only acts on tabs you explicitly connect; it never reads or transmits anything from other tabs. If you optionally add a GLCH pairing code, your synced actions are also attributed to your real GLCH username instead of "Guest." No data is collected or shared with anyone beyond that one server, and nothing is sold, tracked, or used for advertising.
