About this extension
Fovely blocks distractions, not websites.

Most blockers take YouTube away completely, including the tutorial you actually need. Fovely works the other way round: tell it what you're working on, and during your focus session it hides only what doesn't fit.

How it works
  • Type your goal ("Learn React hooks", "Write the quarterly report") and pick 25, 50 or 90 minutes, or until you stop.
  • On YouTube, videos that don't fit your goal are blurred, and off-goal watch pages are paused behind a calm overlay. On-goal videos stay as they are.
  • Shorts are hidden while you focus.
  • Something useful got caught? Allow it with one click, or take a 5-minute break.
  • Weekly leaderboard: join with a nickname and compare focus time with friends.

Fovely Pro
  • Every website, not just YouTube: off-goal pages are paused too.
  • Reddit, X and Instagram, post by post: off-goal posts are hidden in your feed. Posts are judged by their text and image descriptions; ones with neither are hidden. Instagram's Reels tab is paused while you focus.
  • Strict mode: no allowing, no breaks, no ending early.
  • Scheduled sessions that start on their own.
  • Always-allowed and always-blocked sites.
  • Progress: history, a weekly goal, levels, streaks and badges.
  • Unlimited checks, and settings that follow you between devices.

Free: YouTube, 300 checks a day. Pro: $4 a month or $36 a year (€3.99 / €35.99 in the eurozone), sold through Paddle. See pricing.

Privacy

Fovely only looks at titles (video titles, channel names, page titles and short descriptions, and with Pro the first lines and image descriptions of Reddit, X and Instagram posts), only during a focus session, and doesn't keep them. It never reads full URLs, the rest of a page, post authors or your browsing history. No ads, no tracking, no selling of data. If a check fails, Fovely shows the content rather than hiding it. Sign-in is with Google. Details in the privacy policy.

Each decision is made by Jev, a fast classification model by TypeSafe AI, running on Cloudflare Workers AI.
